Enemy Mine
As you all know, we have been working on a story about a Camp Lejeune Marine accused of killing another Marine.

Base officials were pretty tight-lipped about the crime today. I am not knocking them; they were protecting the investigation and the family of the alleged victim.
I respect that.
But when the details of what happend do come to light - and official sources confirm what I have been hearing from Marines and others close to the case - you will see that this crime is as gruesome and disturbing as they come. And that says a lot given the last couple of years Onslow County has seen.
I have been told by a good source that it took dental records to positively identify the decedent.

My heart and prayers go out to the family of the victim. To have your boy killed in action is one thing, but on base, and by another Marine, is horrific.

I note that the ’suspect’ is hospitalized with self inflicted- wounds. I just hope this isn’t another “Jonathan Gould” situation, and we aren’t going to hear of giants roaming the confines of Camp LeJeune and picking on random Marines, killing some and injuring others!!!!
