Good grief
Just posted this to my Facebook page:
Holy smokes. I can’t take the innuendos anymore. It’s funny how many people think it’s a big deal who I go to the gym with. It’s never been a secret. I’ve seen court officials and cops there several times. I’m not hiding anything. Guess if we were playing golf instead, it would be OK, right? Good grief. My working out with the sheriff didn’t stop me from being the only reporter in this town to write about his abuse of power in taking deputy cellphones. While we’re at it, my kids went to his son’s house for Halloween last year and his family invited us to Christmas the year before. During all that time I have never hesitated to write about him or anyone else that needed writing about. It’s not like I drive halfway across the county to go to the same church he does like certain kiss ass deputies. I DON’T GO TO CHURCH! I’m a heathen news reporter. Oh, I’ve also hung out with and eaten lunch with several cops over the years. Y’all want a list of names? I have enough integrity that I can perform my job while developing personal relationships with people. It’s called being human. I challenge anyone to come up with any story I didn’t cover fairly and accurately. Are we done here?

First, I commend you for being the ONLY person who brought any of the sheriff’s wrong doing to the public’s eye. However, can you possibly imagine what it is like to be afraid to talk to you about the sheriff for fear of having him, take away your ability to feed your children, remove your ability to keep a roof over their heads, take away your ability to send your child to college in the fall, and lastly, have your family publically humiliated. You cannot even share with your children that all of this happened, because one man, the sheriff, has determined that their father is not getting paid anymore…by anyone… if he can possibly accomplish it. No fair hearing, no right to ask questions…just fired….or “your services are no longer needed”.
When the people of Onslow County take the reins of the sheriff’s department and do what they are suppose to be have been doing all along, trust me, you will have people lined up at your door. Until then, sorry Lindell, some of us have to feed our families and live indoors. ..at least, for a little while longer…..until the next Ed Brown witch hunt.

“T Neeble,”
I understand. We all have a boss. Some are better than others…
Rayford,
The closest was getting too cramped. Hey, whatever happened to me being on your show? Thought we were going to talk local serial killers…

FOX Network advised not to bring you on board just yet. How ever Nancy Grace will be contacting you about your part in the matter. Don’t let this leak out just yet.

I am still waiting for a fair and exhaustive story on the astonishing disappearing shrimp epidemic from New Hanover several years back. I can’t understand why JDN is ignoring this issue when they would have a unique perspective to uncover the story and solve the mystery. This could be the NCPA for JDN for 2012.

Keep on doing the job you are doin Lindell. I have had the pleasure to know you for over 14 years now and consider you a proffesional with integrity. But, on another note, come over to the republican side because I know deep in your heart you want Newt to be the next president…LOL.
