Woo Hoo, big news! What about your boss, the Editor, that got nailed for the same thing? What ever happened to him? It was all covered up, right? This is NOT NEWS, it is political attack. For shame. You are bigger than this.

You’re way off on that, SFSeniorCitizen.
I reported on both times my publisher was charged with DWI.
How is that a cover up?
How is a lawyer getting a DWI not news?
How is this a political attack when I don’t know anything about the politics of the lawyer?
How is it shameful to report on a crime?
How am I bigger than this when this is my job?
There is not one shred of correct information in your comment.
Try again.

Hopefully he won’t be able to get out of this because he’s a lawyer. I screwed up years ago and got a dwi, was convicted, completed my punishment, and I still cannot get my license. I should’ve had my license back in 2005…seven years ago. I find it to be a little ridiculous that there are illegal immigrants and multiple offenders who are allowed to drive but it’s taken everything I have to get my license back. I know I made a horrible mistake, and I thank the forces of nature everyday that I didn’t hurt anyone. I completed my punishment, and I’m probably one of the few who has learned my lesson. But the NC court system will bend you over and rape you financially anytime and anyway they can.
But I’m sure this guy will get a slap on the wrist because he’s a lawyer.
